K. Kay Dodd Anderson

K. Kay Dodd Anderson is the Director of the firm’s Worker’s Compensation Department and joined the firm as Partner in January 2019. Mrs. Dodd Anderson has spent her entire career in the practice of worker’s compensation over three decades, defending the interests of Employers, Servicing Agents, Carriers, Self-Insured’s and State/Municipalities.

Mrs. Dodd Anderson has highly successful track record in defending worker’s compensation cases at the trial level. She tries cases throughout the year before Judges of Compensation Claims in all Florida jurisdictions. She has extensive experience in the development of successful misrepresentation defenses under F.S. 440.105 and 440.09. She has succeeded in these defenses to such a degree that the claims have subsequently been accepted by the Florida Department of Insurance Fraud for prosecution.

Additionally, she is highly experienced in managing the complex nature of claims from their onset to conclusion, in partnership with her clients, who are primarily self- insured Employers.
Mrs. Dodd Anderson is the mother of three children. She is a highly active member of her local church where she is presently enrolled in a two-year residency program.

In her downtime, she enjoys volunteering, participating in charitable runs/walks, boating with her family, and golfing.
